PROPER NUTRITION. PROPER NUTRITION. PROPER NUTRITION!!!!!!!!!! It can’t be stressed enough. Whether its paleo, vegetarian, etc. The food you eat is the key to success. There is no amount of crossfit you can do that can overcompensate for a poor diet. I was fortunate enough to learn a lot about nutrition over the past 2 months. There is a copy of my food journal behind the desk at CFF. I logged in everything I ate (even the bad) and what time of the day I ate it. Feel free to take a peak at it. The food journal is a very powerful tool. Don’t underestimate its usefullness if your looking to change your diet. My man Pete Downing kept me on the staright and narrow as my nutrition coach in wodify. Thanks Pete
I can’t thank the CFF family enough for all the encouragement, motivation, and help throughout the past 2 months. We have an amazing thing here and I’m proud to be part of it. I have to give a special thanks to everyone doing the first responder challenge. The OG’s and Gavin/McCarthy set the bar high and kept us fighting hard to give it everything we had in those wods. Team Underdog, you guys are the best. There was quite a bit of camaraderie built between us over the past 2 months. It has been a fun ride and I’m confident we’ll get all 3 CFF teams placed in the top 5 next weekend.
Lastly, I just want to say that there is a wealth of knowledge floating around CFF. If you are looking to trim down or have been dieting for awhile with minimal results, grab a coach or fellow crossfitter. We have some amazing weight loss success stories at CFF and they all did it the right way. No fad diets, cleanses, or starving ourselves. We’re not nutritonists, but sometimes its better to get help from someone who’s walked a mile in your shoes than a so-called expert. Congratulations to all that competed and had success in the LNBC. Chris, Lindsay, and Katy, you guys killed it. Awesome work.
