Florian Athletics is a division of CrossFit Florian and designed to give today’s scholastic athlete an unfair advantage over their competition. By combining Olympic & power lifting with gymnastic movements, bodyweight exercises, strongman and metabolic conditioning, we significantly improve fitness and athletic performance in a fraction of the time. Coaches will spend less time “getting the kids in shape” and more time focusing on skills, techniques and running plays. Our program will improve performance across ten physical domains with emphasis on strength, speed and agility:
We place an extra emphasis on form and technique, not permitting our athletes to increase bar loads until they demonstrate an ability to master proper form on every repetition. Proper range of motion and technique are critical to effective strength and power gains without injury. It is our intention to arm our athletes with the knowledge to safely train at CrossFit Florian, but equally as important, when working out at school or with friends.
Our CrossFit based strength and conditioning camps are ideal for preparing athletes for the regimens of Middle School and High School sports. Whether you’re playing football, basketball, baseball, soccer, hockey, volleyball, wrestling, tennis or any highly demanding sport – our Sport Conditioning Camps will increase fitness capacity beyond expectations. CFF trained athletes are generally stronger, faster able to perform at higher intensity for longer periods of time, and mentally able to push themselves much harder than your “average” athlete.
