Nutrition 101 – The Paleo Diet
.
By learning what your body was biologically meant to eat, you can lose weight and balance your blood sugar. Learn the history of the Standard American Diet and how it is linked to modern disease. Find out the best choices for fats, proteins and how to safely incorporate carbohydrates into your diet. Weekly meal planning and tips for eating out included. Diana Rodgers, NTP of Radiance Nutritional Therapy is a Nutrition Consultant and also helps to run Clark Organic Farm in Carlisle, MA, a certified organic farm and CSA (community supported agriculture). She conducts workshops at several CrossFit gyms, cooking classes, and individual consultations at her office in Hamilton, MA and via skype. In her consultations, she evaluates food journals, health history, metabolic status and bloodwork to develop a specific diet and supplementation protocol for her clients.     Nasty WOD today, god damn. Anything with over 10 reps of KB swings is always a crusher. 5+20 with some pretty ugly knee ups. Got up to 135 on the split jerk, first time trying those, pretty cool. Nice work early class!

    Split jerks were not bad going up not good coming down….so I stopped at 85
    WOD was a silent creeper…it got tough fast….5 rounds! Mike kte are not so easy, everyone swings at first 🙂

    AKC- that’s exactly how I felt, good going up bad coming down. I stopped at 85 too, but Tracie kept going! Need to get my beat swing down!
