Came by this while killing some time at work. Although I only read a small amount of this article due to its length, it is always enjoyable reading about CF from someone else’s view.

My dad sent me this article this morning. I agree with Beau…

right beau? i’ve read that before, it’s a joke. the guy has way too much ego

I read this a while ago. He comes across as a D.B! One of the best parts of CF is the community aspect. The cheering, the camaraderie, etc… Fuck him.

There was another similar article to this that I read on another website, can’t remember if it was yahoo, or another one, and I can’t seem to find it, but the author… another pencil pusher, seemed to have the same reaction to his/her first CF experience, and even seemed to mock it the same way.
From my experience since starting CF, I have found people to either love CF and those around them who do it, or hate everything about CF… anyone else?

Agreed. Love it or hate it this shit works.

You and Beau have the best perspective on how it works. Being coaches you guys are the ones being their when people hit their goals, and make the progress they do. I would love to hear someones argument saying CF is a waste of time and does not work.

I’ve only been at it for a few months, but everyone i’ve met who’s given it a real shot love it. I feel like those who hate on it either went to a bad gym, or are just dickheads who i wouldn’t want to work out with anyway

Well, I guess learning how to do double unders was inevitable…it should make for an interesting morning.

Good job 5:30 am class!!! @ Anne & Tracie — nice job on squats! You guys really pushed me to do a weight I didn’t think I could do!

I read that article at the dentist office 2 weeks ago, the writers main issue seems to be that he lost too much weight, which just goes to show that every kid who gets picked on in school is not a victim, some deserve it like this guy.

ps There is a cure for loosing too much weight…….eat more

big 5:30 group again, filled the rowers! nice job everybody. 165# front squat, 6:03 WOD rx. was hoping for under 6:00, would have had it if i could have strung a few more DU’s together!

I walked into CFF this morning feeling a little sick, then I saw Nichole front squatting and rowing with one arm and realized I needed to suck it up. Awesome job Nichole, very, very impressive! 255# Front Squat and 6:03 on the WOD. Good work noon.

95/55 front squat. 6:48/singles. Could barely do singles after the row today. Hard one! Thanks for teaming up Anna-Li, appreciate the encouragement!

I thought this was going to be easy for some reason. I was WRONG. 120/85 front squat, 6:13 w/ singles. Was DEAD after. Good job today everyone! F that guy who wrote that article.

Great effort by everyone today! I think it’s safe to say we all need more double unders. I don’t normally single anyone’s effort out, but Mike Hyatt (19 y/o) was a beast tonight front squatting 295X5 with what looked like relative ease. The scary thing is he can move fast as well. Keep it up everybody!
