The results of the LBNC are in. 36 members took on the challenge and are better humans for it. The challenge was a huge success and we hope you learned a little something something. This wasn’t a weight loss contest (though 83.33% of you lost an average of 3.78% body fat). You all crushed your end baseline time, with a good amount of you with less scaling. In our opinion, the data doesn’t accurately depict the progress you’ve made as a whole. Muscle is heavier than fat and you’ve all gotten a hell of a lot stronger. This is important! The more muscle you have, the faster your metabolism, the better you will look naked.
The LBNC way of eating wasn’t intended to be a 2 month “diet”. It was an introduction to clean eating. Do not go back to a pre LBNC lifestyle. We are not proposing you eat clean 24/7. We challenge and recommend that you abide by the 85/15 rule. Eat clean 85% of the time. Pick and choose when to indulge. You work hard so that you may enjoy life’s pleasures without consequence.
1st Place
Chris “Beard” Kenney (pics)
Lost 25.5 lbs ( a decrease of 9.84% )
Decreased his baseline time by :34. ( 6.77% decrease in time )
LBNC Point Total 264
** It needs to be pointed out that Chris’s 1st Baseline was done with Ring Rows. He didn’t have a single legit pull up. His end Baseline was done Rx’d!

2nd Place
Nick Santangelo (pics)
Lost 25.5 lbs ( a decrease of 9.53% )
Decreased his baseline time by 1:21 ( 22.79% decrease in time)
LBNC Point Total 325
** It should be noted that Nick’s 1st Baseline was done with Ring Rows. His end BL was performed with the green band. There was a stretch of weeks where it seemed like Nick was part of the building. He would hit the pm WOD and open the place the next day. His 325 point total is very impressive. Eating clean in a Boston Firehouse can often be a challenge.

3rd Place
Mike Feeney (pics)
Lost 17.5 lbs ( a decrease of 8.45% )
Decreased his baseline time by 1:10 ( 21.52% decrease in time )
LBNC Point Total 276
Feen Dog’s journey has been well documented. He is a CFF Original. This winter competed in his 1st CF Throwdown and rowed in the CRASH Bs. He’s a testament to what discipline and hard work will get you.

Honorable Mention
Paul Mullen
Lost 22.5 lbs ( a decrease of 7.6% )
Decreased his baseline time by 1:38 ( 26.13% )
Like Feeney, Paul is also an OG and had lost a good amount of weight during his first two months. His 22.5 is impressive considering it came in his 3 & 4 month with Florian. What can’t be show in our numbers is Paul’s increased flexibility, movement and that he may have eaten something green (maybe).
.
Nichole McCann
She was an early favorite in the LBNC but fractured her wrist ice skating. She got cut of by some little mother %$#! She still made the trek to CFF, survived Disney and put up respectable numbers.

BL – 1:13 (18.05%)
1 handed modified push ups

Huge Props Go To
Eric Dean (pic)
Lost 41.4 lbs ( a decrease of 13.97%)
We don’t have his Baseline or Point Total because he didn’t start CFF until after the LBNC started. Well done Eric and DAMN
